Default Regal Empress to Nassau from Ft. Lauderdale ?

We are looking at this 2 night cruise on the Regal Empress which departs Ft.
Lauderdale, FL.

Only reviews I have found are long since outdated.

Has anyone been on a fairly recent cruise that is willing to provide
information on accommodations, food, entertainment ,service etc.

TIA
George In Winter Haven, FL.

I didn't sail it, but I saw her in Nassau, and she's looking tired from
the outside.

I have sailed her twice YEARS ago. I loved the Empress HOWEVER this is
not now a cruise like you know it to be. More like a ride to the
Bahamas. the staff are very much and they used to have great food
SMALL rooms but a ship still made of teak wood and all kinds of nooks
and crannies, however I hear this ship is going to the scrap yards.
and was used for casinos gambling basically

There's a "rule of thumb" that someone once told me about cruises. It's
the more frequently a cruise ship does short 2-day or 3-day cruises the
more beat-up it's going to be. One reason that I can think of is that
there may be less time for maintenance, and clean-up of common areas.
