carry-on limit on LAN.Chile, 2nd try to post this
We are flying AA from the US to Santiago Chile. Then a few days
later, flying LAN.Chile from Santiago to Punta Arenas. The first flight has a carry-on limit of about 40 lbs. The second one has a limit of 17.6 lbs. The airplane from Santiago to Punta Arenas is listed as an "Airbus Industrie A318". Two questions: 1. Is the A318 such a small plane that the plane size limits the carry-on weight? (to partly answer: it looks like all LAN.Chile flights have the 17.6 lb. weight limit.) 2. Is the weight restriction for carry-ons rather loosely enforced? CC |
