Default Explorer vs. Radiance (Promenades)

For starters, we're already knowledgable about the royal promenade
(mall) on Explorer. But what we really enjoy is sea days parked on a
lounge chair on the promenade deck. There's a something about the
shade, the proximity to the waves, and fresh air (as opposed to the
deisel output of the stacks when on the upper decks) that just makes
for a great time of relaxation.

Is there a setting like this on either Explorer or Radience? It's a
critical part of what we're looking for in a cruise.

Thanks/

I believe (though I'm not positive) that Radiance has the new style gas
turbine engines, and not diesel.

Both ships have a complete outdoor wrap-around Promenade Deck.
