You are right, it was in the early '60s that I got my drivers license
and I am also older then George(grin). It was in the early 60s that I
went out with guy who lived in Cederhurst and we spent a lot of time
out on "the island". When Kevin and I were dating, we also spent a of
time in Long Island, that was when I was living in Brooklyn.

I also had a CB radio and loved it! In the late 90s I would be driving
down the Jersey Turnpike, go to pick my daughter up at college. I had
a blast talking on the CB radio and it also helped me avoid some radar
traps(grin).

I must be older than I look. I got my driver's license in January, 1966.
The Peter Pan Diner was a popular hang-out for the kids in my school. A few
years ago we had an r.t.c breakfast there hosted by Eddie B and Charlotte C.

George, I got my driver's license in 1965 when I was 22 yrs old.
Living in Brooklyn, there wasn't the great need to have a car or a
license. Seven months after you got your license is when Kevin and I
got married(grin).

It's not actually an interstate, but it is a limited access spur route

Sorry, sweetheart, but I-10 absolutely IS an Interstate route which runs
from Santa Monica, CA to Jacksonville, FL at I-95.

I-10 was the road where all of the refugees from the Superdome were

waiting
while FEMA looked for them.

I didn't say there wasn't an I-10. I just said that the road marked
#10 south of Baltimore off I-695 wasn't I-10. Which is true.
