Default EUROPE FOREVER

Considering the crap debates about US internal affairs on rec.travel.europe,
I suggest all Q and A about European TRAVEL start right here...
After all that GWB is your's, not our's, thank god as you like to say over
there...
:-))

Quite right. But:

Considering all the steaming, fermented, foul-smelling verbiage emanating from
Europe about Bush, it's only natural for conversation to drift in that
direction, I'd have thought.

Who wanted to vote in our elections? Who's obsessed with stereotypical images
of the US and of Bush? Who's trying valiantly to foster some type of EU
identity despite the Commission's overbearing, busybody commands? Outward
enmity = inward amity I'm told.

Hell, were I to live in such a state of affairs *I* might become hysterically,
insanely preoccupied with stereotypes about people half a globe away from me.
Anything to get one's mind off the individual powerlessness of living in an
undemocratic, bureaucratic, Terminally-PC mess such as the EU is at the
moment. I'll bet even those little trips to Majorca among the thousands of Fat
tourists sweating profusely while eating smelly Bratwurst is becoming a little
old already, no?

Perfectly understandable. Commiserations your way. Nex
