Default Aborted Landing in Hamburg

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z42fchrzhHY

After several attempts, pilot attempts landing
in gale-force wind with strong side component
(viz side-slip angle). On touchdown, as aircraft
is aligned with runway, gale tips plane to port.
Port wind strikes runway, pilots decide to go
around. He then waited in a holding pattern
for another 50 minutes before landing safely.

All this happened during a heavy storm that hit
Germany on Saturday, March 1st.

I hear the airport shops selling undergarments
posted an unexpected sale of 137 pairs of
underpants that day.
