Default German lemmings

Three people died and more than thirty wounded when 52 cars piled up on
A31 close to the Dutch border.

There was something similar on the M5 in England two weeks ago, but
no Germans were involved.

Was there a thick fog or something like that?

Nope.

Heavy rain, possibly also smoke from a fire and fireworks, but that
particular part of the 'blame culture' you get these days in the UK
seems to have gone very quiet.

In Germany yes, in UK a mixture of mist and smoke from a November 5th
rugby club firework display that was held next to the M6.

So rugby is the love-child of soccer/football and American football?

I like how it is more real-time, whereas American football has lots of
breaks and time-management. Does it result, through, in the endless
ties and nought-nought scores that can happen in soccer?
