Default Number of Days of Rain on the Gold Coast?

I'm not looking for predications. I'm looking for practical. I live in
New York. Want to know what the rain situation is in July? Statistics
you find online only tell you part. Prediction is not an exact science
yet. But here's the practical: July days are mostly sunny and
complelety dry. By most I mean at least 5 to 6 days per week are dry.
We can have dry spells for weeks but we can also have a solid one or
two days of rain within a week of very cloudy skies. Solid rain of
three days in a row is not common. You can expect mostly sunny days and
it would be rare for you to have a two week vacation here spoiled by
rain - find this kind of description on the weather websites.

prediction by anyone here. Weather is as predictable as winning lottery

In February about how many days a week does it rain on avaerage? Is it
downpour tropical rain or all day steady typr rain? Please don't post
any insulting comments. My question is genuine and while average rain
fall statistics are easy to find on online it is difficult to nearly
impossible to find out what the situation is really like. For example,
New York has more rain than Brussels, according to the statistics but
it's not a good comparison for practical purposes. New York usually has
weeks and weeks of sunshine with a day or less of rain while Brussels
is gloomy and raininy every day. I am looking for practical information
not statistics.

Feb this year was mostly dry. IIRC, the previous two or three saw torrential
rain lasting days at a time, resulting in flash flooding.

It really is difficult to give a definitive answer. February is cyclone
(hurricane) season. While few cyclones travel as far south as the Gold
Coast, their effects are often experienced well into New South Wales. In a
whole month, you could encounter none, one or a series of cyclones. Trying
to predict that is virtually impossible - ask the folks in Florida and
Louisianna.
