Gold Coast Location Recommendation?
Can anyone recommend a Gold Coast location(s) where one would find the
highest concentration of resturants? I am looking for a location that is within 1 km of Sushi, Indian, seafood, etc. restaurants. |

Gold Coast Location Recommendation?
There would be very few areas where that would not be the case!
In Surfers Paradise, Main Beach and Broadbeach you would almost always be within 100m of each. wrote in message oups.com... I am looking for a location that is within 1 km of Sushi, Indian, seafood, etc. restaurants. It's a sort of an odd request. Is that the only criteria? If it is, Broadbeach near Jupiter's casino would meet them, but so would a dozen other places from Southport to Kingscliff. I was away in July when you posted this: "I am looking for a town to stay in for 3 months from about December to March. I am thinking either just north of Sydney or just south of the gold cost. This is what I need: 1. Self contained unit for 1 or 2 persons. 2. On or close to the ocean. I don't want a desert beach but I also don't want it shoulder to shoulder either. 3. Internet access 4. Close to large supermarkets, restaurants and civilization but not too close (within 5 km). 5. Safe 6. AUD$2000 or less (preferably) per month for three months. 7. Easy public transportation to Sydney or Brisbane. Any ideas on a good place? Is Tweed Heads good?" Exactly what you wanted over the Xmas hols is not possible - but if you check out some of the real estate agents in the district from Pottsville to Kirra Beach you may get some surprising deals if you point out that you want the full 3 or 4 months. There are a lot of new timeshares just opened around here as well, with fierce competition, places like Salt, with an Outriggers, Tamarind Sands at Cabarita, Paradiso at Kingscliff (a town which meets just about everything you're after), and similar. Actually, I think Kingscliff sounds perfect for you. A couple of local agents: http://www.pottsville.com.au/ http://www.ljhooker.com.au/agent/age...OfficeCode=158 You may have to rent two different places - something higher priced and lower standard for Dedcember-January, then cheap luxury when they all go back to school for February-March.
