It depends on the state, but in most states, a lower level IQ is set and
below that people are not allowed to give "informed consent" without either
state approval, or parent/guardian approval, and/or court approval. It
depends on the state and the system they have in place. Here in Michigan,
I believe that an IQ of 45 and below is the standard used.

Very minimal math skills then will tell you that a normal 10 year old has
more ability and right to give consent than a 21 year old with a 45 IQ.

(Yes, IQ is, basically, a percentage)

So, by law a 10 year old cannot give informed consent, IQ is only one of the
issues involved. Emotional maturity/stability, economic concerns, etc.
Under the law, a ten year-old has no right to informed consent for the
purposes of sex/marriage.

You are so stupid.

Let's argue with your strawman.

No, you can't marry your dog. Your dog cannot consent as an adult. It

does
not have the mental capacity to consent.

Your neighbor's python does not have the mental capacity to consent.

Your co-workers six year old does not have the mental capcacity to

consent.

And you don't have the mental capacity to intelligently argue this.

It's a good thing Bush did not live in your state.

The same place heterosexual marriage currently ends.

Default I want to marry my dog!

NEWSFLASH:

Man goes to supreme court to debate his god given right to marry himself.

(Think of tax deductions, all your alimony payments go to yourself when you
divorce yourself etc). And when yo screw up, you can truly and honestly always
blame your spouse :-)

Can I marry my dog?

How about a lioness? You'll probably have to date her first, of
course, and provide her with dinner.

We'll see if she says, "I do" or "I love these things - soft, chewy,
and no hair or hide to spoil the taste."

I guess that mormons are safe.... it's perfectly alright for a man to have
five wives.. The gays could say that "heterosexuality" is a "slippery
slope"..

Can I marry my dog?

Also, my neighbor has a Burmese python that he feels the same way
about. Can they get married?

Also, one of the guys at work wants to know if he can marry his 6 year
old daughter.

By the way, I signed a 30 year mortgage when I bought my house. Can
we be considered married?

It ends at the Constitutionally required "Rational Basis" for a
discriminatory law. What is the rational basis for discriminating against
gays?? There isn't one. There are several ample reasons for not allowing
three men/women to marry -- from child custody to inheritance. Use your
brain and study your government and it's most important document before you
go around spouting off your baseless charges that other people don't know
what they're thinking by fighting for their rights.
