Ryanair to charge for luggage
Hope, this hasn't already found its was into the other mammoth
FR thread :-) http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/4647906.stm Though I've no problem with this move. Not so sure about online check-in. Can't see that it is either fair or workable if it is, al la SWA, where everyone who checks in online jumps the queue for the 'A' group. I wonder if they will try to stop automatic online check-in as has sprung up for SWA. Can't see how they are going to stop people smuggling on oversize/weight carry on. Tim |

Ryanair to charge for luggage
Following up to tim (moved to sweden)
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/4647906.stm Though I've no problem with this move. neither have I, I'll just fly with someone else. We found once that Iberia was cheaper than Ryan if you took the full Iberia luggage allowance, given Ryan's excess charges and low allowance. -- Mike Reid Walk-eat-photos UK "http://www.fellwalk.co.uk" -- you can email us@ this site Walk-eat-photos Spain "http://www.fell-walker.co.uk" -- dontuse@ all, it's a spamtrap |
