Default Ryanair begins online check in

I think this is new:

http://www.bookryanair.com/checkngo/...webcheckin.cgi

Rules are up to the usual standard of Ryanair's customer
service.

I can't work out if you get a pass in group 1 or 2 though.

This is not very new.
They've offered on-line check in for some time and if you've done so you're
in the first group boarding (behind children and disabled of course)
Can't be used if you've luggage to check in.

Each on line check boarding pass is numbered from 1 upwards, that
determins the group if that system is being operated.

On our last trip from Friedrichafen there were no proirority groups,
not even children the plane was boarded from two gates simultaniously
in 10 mins as there was less than 15 mins to the airport closing. The
aircraft was not full, but it shows it can be done, thanks to the
captain and everyone for doing a quick turn round without which the
flight would not have been able to take off and would have had to be
cancelled.
