Reasonably priced safe hotels in Manhattan for French travelers
We have French friends, a family of four--one older child, one much
younger. They want to stay in Manhattan for two nights in April and hope to pay $150 or less per night. Some classic hotels e.g., the Larchmont and the Millburn are full. Can any native Manhattan person suggest similar style hotels preferably--but not necessarily--on the Upper West Side or in Chelsea? Thanks in advance. Howard |

The problem is native New Yorkers don't stay in New York hotels, so we
may not be the best ones to ask. But try the Pickwick Arms; my friends from Boston stay there frequently and are happy with it. And it has a nice French wine bar off the lobby. Larry |
