The nicest resort in the Bahamas is the One & Only Ocean Club but
being the best also means being the most pricey. Second to that is
Sandals Royal Bahamian, the all inclusive option. There is also the
well known Atlantis which is more of a family resort. What type of
vacation are you looking for (romantic, fun, budget, etc.)?

Sorry, but a "pet peeve" of mine...
The Atlantis is basically a Las Vegas resort plunked down on Paradise
Island.. practically destroying all traditional Bahamian resorts on the
island. If you want to go to "The Bahamas", don't go to the Atlantis:
it is nothing like the rest of the Bahamas. If you do go the Atlantis
don't think the rest of the Bahamas are like that...

I agree; the place is absolutely disgusting. Club Med columbus Isle is a far
better place to visit

I'll agree with that... Been there 4 times...

The Club Med on Paradise Island was nice (and much more appropriate to
the Bahamas) until Atlantis finally made Club Med an offer they couldn't
refuse. (The Club was essentially "next door" to the Atlantis and
like a completely different world...) Progress... Yuck!!
