Our Lucaya is very nice. Very good beach, parasailing, jet skies and you can
probably get away with using the great hotel pools. |

Very industrial This gets asked regularly, and I regularly reply: The shipyard itself is interesting. You can watch them load and unload stuff. OK, it's not for everyone. The swimming and snorkeling is good, too, and there are some parks you can visit, one with a small museum devoted to the guy who developed the port. -- Visit my Iron Age Pages for technical and fun stuff (holiday specials, too)! http://pages.prodigy.net/feaudrey |

There were several ships in drydock. That is interesting for ten minutes. Looking at the Big Red Boat rotting is good for five minutes. The swimming and snorkeling is good, too, and there are some parks you can visit, one with a small museum devoted to the guy who developed the port. I would recommend one of the snorkeling excursions, kayaking or the visit to the national park. That would be preferable to the shipyard activities. -- Charles |
