Default Self-service check-in at CPH

The signs at CPH state that anyone can check-in at their self-service
machines, whether you have an e-ticket or a paper ticket. The SAS
signs are misleading. If you buy a ticket directly through SAS, the
signs are correct. However, if you buy a ticket through United
Airlines, or other carriers, and you have a paper ticket, you cannot
check-in at their self-service machines. SAS tickets include an
actual magnetic stripe that the machines can read. United Airline's
tickets do not have this feature.

We had a eticket for snowflake (part of sas) and we could also not use the
self check in at CPH. Our reason was that both me and my wife's name had one
ticket number :-)

So it's handy if it works but not count to much on the self checking.

Greetings,
George

Yes that what you would expect but that was not the case. The self checking
only showed up the ticket of my wife and the guy on the counter saw us both
but with the same ticket number.

You might have only one booking reference, but you will each have your own
ticket number.
