You do if you fly spirit you get several snacks! and free soda, juice
etc. and free luggage....
I opt to fly Spirit cause if you add up the extras with the others its
the least expensive in most cases, and there is lots of leg room.
ashame they do not fly to San Juan or aruba

Susette, Spirit certainly does charge you for everything, juice, soda,
even water. And none of their luggage is free. They do fly to San
Juan, as well. Perhaps you're thinking of another airline?

Oh I know that ! I said that SOUTHWEST gives free luggage drinks,
snacks I WISH they flew to SAN JUAN
When we took Spirit to SAN JUAN through FLL it was a nightmare

We've actually always been very lucky with our Spirit flights. We've
been flying them for many years (I think the late 80's or early 90's
when they started flights non-stop out of A.C. We live so close to
A.C., it's very convenient. And up until a couple of years ago,
parking for up to three weeks was free.

There was that one time last year when, about 10 minutes after take-
off, the pilot announced we'd have to return to A.C. because there was
a door "ajar." I'm not a great flier and ordinarily that would have
scared the heck out of me, but thank goodness for Xanax!

George and Becca, have a great time in Lost Wages!

say you get nickle and dimed on cruises....lol. Oy!!!

That is becoming the norm around the World. Wait until they start charging $1 a sheet for toilet paper!

Okay, who remembers the 60s TV show "Branded"?

And that childish parody (well, I WAS a child) of the theme song?

Yeah, but today I could have booked a flight non-stop from A.C. to Ft
Myers Feb. 20-27 for $3 each way. For my husband and I the total cost
was $54, which included taxes and fees. However, my husband can't get
that week off from work. But I did get a flight for March 5-13 for $9
each way.

I just got r/t tickets from Shreveport to Las Vegas for $58 pp plus tax and
fees (Allegiant Air). We hadn't planned on going anywhere this month but
with these cheapo tickets plus some comped hotel rooms... we decided to go.

Times are tough out in Vegas... hotels are very cheap and even the major
airlines have reduced rates.

So I noticed! I had to look at a deal from AA Vacations today. I
thought it was per night. It was 3 nights. $300 at the Bellagio.

This is what flying is coming to, but I bet you got a good price on the
flights.lol

The price was decent....but with the add ons...somewhat less of a
bargain, but it's direct and that's what I like the most! Me and my
stuff will all get there together!

Direct is very good and also hard to find!! Flying down to the Solstice
we have a 2 hour layover in Atlanta, but at least going home we have a
nonstop flight.

Are you flying down on Sat. oor Sun.?

We are arriving late afternoon saturday. There will be a group gathering
Sat. night if you want to join us, unless you want to hang with friends
that aren't sailing with us.

The standing room restrooms would be intolerable for the lady passengers
and quite a problem for the men on occasion.
