So, did you take the Vikings Cruise this year? Which ship and where did

Of course I did the Viking cruise this year. It was on Freedom of the
Seas. I will send you a link to my pics.

Where is that link! I want to see your pics too Charles!

the Regatta would have one in November that included Lisbon in its

I loved Lisbon when I was there a few years ago -- would love to go
back and explore some more!

Jeff

Hey Jeff! If you run across such an itinerary, let me know. ;-)
I see that you are coming on the Solstice with us in February...It
will be good to see you again!

--Jean

I'm very looking forward to it Jean! We need to find you some more
monkeys!

Jeff, when Kevin and I were on the Emerald Princess I bought a monkey
for Jean and one for myself!! Think maybe we should each bring ours
with us on the Solstice???

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!

Oh- well, that's another idea, also. grin

Hi Nonny,

It would be great if you no longer responded to him.

Costa has em as well -- on the breakfast room service menu even! So no
need to leave the cabin to get cappuccino and chocolate croissants!
It's very very dangerous, lol....

Very interesting to hear the contrasts Jean.

I LOVE snorkeling in Roatan -- the reefs are great, but so are the reefs
in Belize -- have you cruised there yet? HIGHLY recommended! My mom even
snorkeled there and loved it!

Jeff

Thanks, Jeff,
Mike scuba dived off of Roatan and was quite impressed with the clarity of
the waters and beautiful colors...At first our itinerary read Belize and
then they changed it to Roatan.
I got a kick out of you getting your Mom out there snorkeling...maybe there
is hope for me yet! ;-)

--Jean

Hey if I give you lessons you'll pick it up in no time! I had a great
time teaching her how, and boy, am I patient, lol lol.... Belize is
definitely worth a visit....gorgeous reefs and water and we went to this
private island beach thing in the middle of the ocean, it was very neat.

The diving in Roatan is beautiful. On one dive, the jellyfish were
blooming, but it was still beautiful. I saw a shark about 80' deep that
was 5' long; at first I thought it was a catfish, because we were so
close to shore. I saw an octopus and lobster during the daylight, and
that is unusual. I have seen them during a night dive, but I dislike
night dives because I feel claustrophobic.

Sue,
Since I wasn't there, I have a question or two. What sort of Monkey? Is
it like the kind you win on the boardwalk at Seaside Hts. NJ? Those
monkeys have Velcro on their hands. So if you win several, you can
connect them hand to hand and have them hanging from a loft, winding
staircase, ... etc. Or, are these monkeys an adornment on a boat drink?

one word: Thorazine

Had to look that one up, Nonny. Not guilty. Nothing stronger than
aleve.

Thorazine is an old style anti-psychotic drug. Newer more effective
drugs like Clozeril have replaced it.
