Tampa - Transportation from Hotel to dock
We are sailing on the Veendam on the 31st of January and hope to get a hotel
near the airport the night before. Is a cab the most convenient mode of transportation for 2 people to travel to the ship's dock? Approximately, how much will it cost from the airport to the dock by cab? How much time do I have to allow to get there by cab My info package tells me we can board at 3:00 p.m.for a 5:00 p.m. sailing. Can I arrive at the dock sooner than that? Thanks in Advance Paul

Yes, a cab is the most convenient. From the airport to the dock.. hmmm.. depends which one Veendam is using. If the old Terminal 6... the cab fare will be around $24.00.. if they are using one of the downtown terminals.. it'll be about $17.00 and change. DOT and traffic... about 20 minutes or so.
