Default Fuel Surcharge

I have read in the newspapers that some airlines in Europe have added
a fuel surcharge even for tickets sold some time ago.
We are to fly from Europe to Canada at the end of the month and would
like to know if Air Canada has done something similar.
Anyone?
Thanks in advance.
