Default Stand-by Cruises

Princess has Stand-by cruiss for their Captain's Circle pssengers.

What other cruise lines have this type of "last-minute program?

What are the typical prices offered?

How often does Princess send e-mail on their stand-by offers?

Please e-mail me direct.

Thanks

Kev

What kind of prices do they offer on the stand-by?

I've been cruising for the past 35 years and have had many people on
crruses ask me if I booked at the last minute especially since living in
Florida, but I was not aware of the system until last week on the
Caribbean Princess.

Sign into your account at princess.com. That's assuming you have one,
else you need to register. Click on "My Profile" at the right. Then
look for "Standby Program" in the middle menubar.

You can set which ports you wish to leave from, and notices with less
than a week to go, or 1-2 weeks, or 3-5 weeks.

For example, today I got an email for a 9-day Crown Princess Caribbean
roundtrip New York for $449 inside that leaves September 21. If my
wife weren't a teacher that can't get off, I'd jump on it.
