Sunny, No I don't work for the fed. govt. I work for a company called
Philips...."we're making things even better". I make computer chips,
cell phone chips, video chips, pretty much all the micro-electronic
chips you can think of.

I my wife's case, there is no difference between sick time and
vacation time. It's all called paid time off (PTO). She gets 5+
weeks a year, "use it or lose it". Of course, she has so much comp
time built up that she can take the occasional day with no effect on
her PTO. In fact, after 6 or 7 60 hour weeks, she tells her people to
go home at noon on Friday. And everybody is usually home by 1:30,
logged on and working.
