Default The prophecied hidden kingdom of Asia

There have been various legends (Shangri-La etc...) that have been mentionned
in Asia but there is one that is based on traditional Asian lore rather than on
Western extrapolations. This is what should be looked into before people head
out on Asian trips because they can thus not miss it. It is indeed, a pity to
see people take trips that are expensive and pass by things that were actually
right on their path.

If people heading out to Asia pass through the Indian subcontinent and then
head for Nepal, it's good to know of this legend. In Nepal, that's now in the
midst of turmoil, there's a legend and prophecy of the coming of a new state of
things that will clear things up but it is based on ancient prophecies that are
available in ancient oriental texts.

It has been said that the kingdom of Mustang in Nepal is the realisation of
this prophecy, but I don't think this, as also do few Mustang people too. The
prophecy covers a far larger scope than just being that little kingdom and it's
realisation of clearing things up would in effect clear things up for the
Kingdom of Nepal in general. It can thus fight the Maoist insurgency and
eradicate it from Nepal if it came true. Thus, it's good for travellers to
Nepal to know that they are treading the land of an ancient prophecy. This is
what I want to mention in this thread : if anyone is heading for Nepal and
wants to get the information that they need to know.

Travellers heading out to Asia in general and not knowing anything about where
they're going often go to places and realise a few years later that thjey just
had a street or two to go down to have seen a unique heritage of mankind but
that they weren't informed enough and thus missed a life opportunity. It is a
great shame and squandering of the travel funds. As I'm university-educated on
Asia, I want to spare this to people and enable them to access information
easily without having to do all the years of study that are required to know
this. Rather than give a travel guide on all of Asia, I thus give just this
unique and memorable prophecy so that people can concetrate on this one aspect
of travel that gathers into it both legend, predestiny and magic. The "Magic
Kingdom" !

The West has passed from closed-minded fear in it's approach to foreign culture
and now has reached a state of openness towards new things that it never had
before : thus this cultural heritage of Asia is now appropriate to give out to
travellers who have a more tolerant and curious approach to travel than in the
past. Thus, this post can adress a more advanced public than in earlier years
of our history.

here have been various legends

Thank you for the load of patronizing horse hockey. It ranks up there with
the
juvenile sputing on rec.travel.air, saying nothing just wasting bandwidth.
Get
a life.

Thank you for at least answering Ed, most people don't even bother and the
silence is lethal usually (It's said that America discovers the world when it
goes to war !!!). But you don't elaborate much and are pretty circumspect in
your post. What precisely is the thing you are a specialist on of the subjects
I brought up ? I'm really happy for your response as this is a subject for
scholars and only you answered. Thank you very much, I'm happy to have met you
on this net.

In the next post I propose that I copy my post and we go through each subject
point by ppint and you tell us all here what you know - so we can learn about
all this. You're right incidentally : I'm really not good at writing, but you
can help with ideas for that. Geir.
