Hi all

We will traveling this coming February on Northwest through MSP. Just
wondering if 1 hour and 5 minutes is a long enough connecting time at
MSP. Seems kind of weird that we had a close to a 5 layover going, but
coming home we have such a short one.

Joyce

1:05 is fine for a domestic connection at MSP.

Still no problem. BUT - the morning of the flight check NW's web site
(nwa.com) and verify the (1) gate you're arriving into MSP at and (2) the
gate you're departing from. I'd also have an alternate schedule available
so you know what to ask for if there's a delay. Northwest has direct phones
to reservations you can use to re-book if you misconnect, but I suspect
there aren't that many flights to CPR from MSP.

You don't specify if you are travelling domestically or

internationally. Minimum
connection time at most major US airports is in the neighborhood of

30-35
minutes for domestic connections.

We are flying domestically (FLL-CPR). I also need to correct my earlier
post, as we only have 55 minutes instead of 1 hour and 5 minutes
connecting time in MSP. In addition was told by a friend that there are
earlier connecting flights to FLL, but the price is much more.

I agree when you say that gates are miles apart. I guess I am used to
DEN where at least most, if not all the UAL gates are on 1 concourse
(not sure if UA still has a few gates on the A concourse or not). This
is fine, as long you don't have to go all the way from a UAX gate to
lowered numbered gate all the way at the other end of the concourse.

Lets hope they have enough deicer, so they don't run in the same
problem that an airline or two had in Ohio. It sounds, as though they
had to cancel a number of flights, as they ran our of deicer.
