15k saver awards from united

United lets you use just 15k miles for a free ticket so long as the
journey is less than 700 miles. The promotion seems to end this year.
Does anyone know if they will likely have a similar promotion next
year? I am wondering if I should use up my miles on this promotion or
save them for next year?

It seems they had something similar in 2005 where 15 k would let you
fly 750 miles.

There are no guarantees in life, especially in the life a FF program.
The only people that would know what UA is planning for next year aren't
permitted to tell you. No one else would know.

past practice usually dictates the future. Beside 2005 and 2006, has
this promotion been offered in prior years? If not , then I would not
count on it being offered in 2007.
