De Rotterdam
Following has been published by the owners 'De Rotterdam B.V.':
1. Negotiations with various yards concerning asbestos cleaning and dry-docking are nearing their end. Before the end of October a decision will be made. 2. HAL in Seattle has offered two original lifeboats. They are in a good shape and will be transported to Rotterdam very soon. 3. Very soon, the tenders will be shipped from Gibraltar to Rotterdam. The students at the vocational training at the Albeda College and retired ex-HAL employees can than start to repair them. Regards, Willem van der Leek The Netherlands |
