Default Itinerary disappearing?

We've booked on the Zenith for February 29-March 14. That itinerary seems to
have vanished from both the Celebrity site and Orbitz. Our reservation is
still on file on Orbitz, and we've recieved no notification of anything
awry... should I worry?

Nevermind... I called Orbitz and the gentleman who helped (and *boy* was he
helpful, patient, informative, knowledgable...) was able to tell me very
quickly that the reason the itinerary had disappeared was that the ship had
sold out.

And when he looked at the price we paid, he said, "And I can see why it sold
out...you got a fantastic price!"

When he looked at our itinerary, he said, "Oh, that's a *great* cruise. We
loved the jungle boat ride in Costa Rica. By the way, you do know you *will*
need a passport for Costa Rica?" (yes, I did, but it was nice for him to be
concerned enough to call my attention to it). "Costa Rica is awesome--when
we cruised there it was the least touristy excursion we took."

So I asked about Panama, and he said, "We took the rail excursion, but it
wasn't particularly great (!... he's actually suggesting things *not* to
do... I like this guy...)"

I had a few more questions, like, does the trip insurance cover us in case
the ship is late back to port and we miss our connecting flight (we only
have a 5 hour gap between...) and he said, "Yes, the insurance covers the
flight, whether you book through us or not. And tell the staff that you have
that flight, and when, and they may help you get off the boat faster to help
make sure you catch that plane. They really bend over backwards to get the
customer service right on Celebrity." (We booked with the 5 hour gap
primarily because it saved something like $120 *each* over getting a later
flight, plus if we can make that flight, we'll get home at a decent hour,
whereas anything later would require an overnight stay and get us back the
next day--we will be going back to work the next day if all goes well! Boat
gets in at 7 am. Plane leaves at about noon... But I did want to know that
we wouldn't be high and dry if things went awry in there.)

Anyway, he really set my mind at ease, was willing to chat for a little
while (calling at 1:30 am might have helped there..lol!) and had actually
cruised himself, which impressed me.

JAX right?
the ride to the ariport is about 15 minutes from the dock but you don't
really have a 5 hour window since you really won't get off the ship
before about 9-9:30 (it take stiem to clear the ship). still you are
close and there is no real traffic even on weekdays from the port to the
airport.

Jenrose,
It's a good chance thaat the cruise is sold out or has very few cabins left,
meaning they will sell it on the phone but not the web to insure that they
don't overbook it.

Thanks, we did figure that out.
