Don't bother looking up a def....it's common slang. Ford products fit and
finish are cobby...Maybach's is not. Bayliner products fit and finish are
cobby....Sunseeker's are not. A ship made with short jing (not alot of money)
often comes up short in the quality department.

If you are implying that Celebrity's fit and finish are not good then I
would disagree. Have you been on a Celebrity ship? I doubt it. The fit
and finish is very good on Celebrity ships. There has been some wear on
the older ships like Zenith on the outer decks but in general they are
in very good shape. Some lapses in redoing the upholstory faster than
they should but they are among the best of the mass market cruise lines
in materials and workmanship. Compared to say Carnival, which has poor
fit and finish in my opinion.

Yes, the Carnival ships are the worst of the newer ships (built in last 15

hold my six pack masters and have logged extensive cruise ship travel hours on
almost every line over the past quarter century. The ins and outs of say, how a
house is built....then yes, I do not claim to hold knowledge in that field, but
when it comes to things that navigate water, it is my first love and what I
know most about in life. You can dispute this until you are blue in the face
and it will not change my reputation or what I know to be factual.

Celebrity. They are better than alot of ships in all aspects, but they are not
what I consider to be superior ships either. I deduce my observations of
Horizon based on a point of view relating to shipbuilding, not a consumer POV.

Today, those are not even close to being representative of the entire fleet.
They're 15 years old.

To make judgments about the entire fleet from those 2 ships doesn't make any
sense.
