Default Bringing wine on board

Do you have to bring in wine that isn't on the wine list or is any kind
okay?

Does anyone know RCI's policy in terms of bringing wine on board the
ship? Must it be wine they don't carry?

I know the "corkage fee" is $12. If you must bring wine to the table
that they do not have, do you know where I can find a current wine
list to make sure I am able to bring the wine into the dining room?

Also, has anyone tried giving the waitress $10 cash rather than have
them put it on your cruise card? I heard that it sometimes makes the
waiters happy!

it makes them very happy and they like people who bring wine becasue they
tend to be tippers.

I have actually never had to sign for a corkage fee. Make it clear like a
ten dollar bill and question such as "does this cover for the wine?" that
the waiter gets paid and all is well.

The list is fairly mainstream If you like foreign wines you will not
duplicate unless you get very run of the mill wines Michel Picard and
Drouhin show up a lot ( good wines just common) I tend to take splurge
wines on cruises, and FWIW the waiters really don't care although they
might find white zin a little odd they would say nothing.
