Default Airlines/Aircraft listing

I remember this site that had a long, extensive listing of aircraft
sorted by manufacturer/model etc with regularly updated information,
but cannot find it on Google or anywhere else... wondering if anyone
here knows of such site (it was a plain text site, with a grey
background - and it even gave the option of displaying in tables or
not, warning of taking a long time to load etc)... Please post here,
don't reply via email

Think it might have been Bill Harms' site which is no longer, a good
alternative is;

The author ceased updating the site as of Dec. 2002. The page is still up.
