I live in Chicago, and you're going to love the city!!!

Assuming you are coming within the next 6 months, you'll have plenty to see
and enjoy outside. Some outdoor festivals in the summer are Blues Fest
(May), Taste of Chicago (around 4th of July), Jazz Fest (September)

You ought to stay downtown either near the loop or along Michigan Ave. You
can get there from either Ohare or Midway airport via the CTA (trains) and
walk everywhere. For museums, the Shedd Aquarium, Art Institute and Field
Museum are great. Also check out the Chicago Cultural Center and the Museum
of Contemporary Art.

For touristy shopping stuff, North Michigan Avenue has all of the cool
stores.. Virgin Record Superstore, Sony, Niketown.. and all other types of
cloting stores. Also Navy Pier is full of touristy things to do...

For eats try: Chicago Style Pizza at any of the Pizzeria Uno / Due, Gino's
East, Lou Malnati's, Giordanos... The Signature Room for a weekday lunch
buffet overlooking the city & lake for less than $10....

Take a tour, whether it be a boat tour or a trolley tour, you'll learn a lot
about the history of Chicago and architecture... Go up the Sears Tower sky
deck, if it's sunny out...

If you can make it out to the suburbs, visit the Bahai Temple in Glencoe /
Wilmette. It's truly a marvelous place.

Sports: go to a Chicago Cubs baseball game during the week and sit in the
bleachers.... go to a Chicago Fire soccer game at Soldier Field...

Relaxation: take a walk / jog / blade / bike ride along the lake... it's
beautiful!!! there are beaches there too, if you want to get some sun!!!

checkout the Chicago site on yahoo for more info.. also check out
www.chicagoreader.com for weekly specials...

Have a great time in Chicago!

Chang
