Best time of year for special offer flights Europe to South Africa
I am planning a trip to South Africa in early November.
Does anyone know from past experience whether there are likely to be special offers on flights from Europe (probably UK or France) to Johannesburg if I wait until nearer the time to book, or would I do better to book them as soon as possible now? Also any particular suggestions on how to get the best deal - so far I have just been searching online on Opodo/Lastminute.com etc. And is there any particular city it is cheapest to fly from as a rule (so far, have been looking at London, Paris, Zurich etc)? Thanks in advance for any advice, Simon. |

November should be less of a peak period, but still, its close to the December holiday period. London has the most capacity somethin like 5 flights daily to joburg and another 2?? to Cape town. Not the cheapest airliners tho .BA, SAA, Virgin Atlantic. Probably best to shop around, maybe Lufthansa out of Frankfurt, or Iberia out of Madrid. Dont think there is a rule as to the cheapest, depends on what offers the airlines have -- Posted via http://britishexpats.com |
