Carnival Cruise Lines Offers Six Months to Pay
Interest-Free for Vacation Purchases with CLEAR

Provides CLEAR Cardholders a Way to Budget for Carnival 'Fun Ship'
Vacations

Miami, FL, Month/Day, 2003 - Carnival Cruise Lines is among an elite
group
of national merchants participating in CLEAR's Budgeting Plan,
enabling
consumers to extend payments for up to six months, interest-free when
they
book a Carnival "Fun Ship" vacation using CLEAR.
CLEAR is a valuable voluntary benefit that allows employees of
participating
employers to make purchases from 33 million MasterCard acceptance
locations
worldwide and pay for them over two months interest-free, through
payroll
deduction. While all purchases made with CLEAR are paid for over at
least
two months, purchases from participating merchants, including Carnival
Cruise Lines, are extended over six months, at 0% interest.
For example, a seven-day cruise priced at $499 per person would be
repaid
through automatic payroll deductions of $38 each from the cardholder's
next
thirteen bi-weekly paychecks. Similar values are available on the
line's
short duration cruises, as well. With CLEAR, consumers are provided
an
easy and convenient way to pay for Carnival's "Fun Ship" cruise
vacations,
which offer a wide range of fine and casual dining venues, including
complimentary 24-hour pizza, ice cream and stateroom service, as well
as
spacious accommodations, on-board duty-free shopping, full casino
gambling,
expansive spa and children's facilities, a full schedule of daytime
activities and nighttime entertainment, and scenic ports of call.
"Carnival is pleased to be a member of the E-Duction Budgeting Plan,
which
provides a convenient and affordable means for purchasing a 'Fun Ship'
cruise vacation," said Bob Dickinson, Carnival president and CEO.
"Although
the cruise industry expects to carry a record number of passengers
this
year, it still captures just 3 percent of the leisure travel market,
and
this agreement provides Carnival an opportunity to market 'Fun Ship'
vacations to thousands of potential guests," he added.
"Carnival Cruise Lines is a perfect fit for CLEAR's Budgeting Plan,"
said
Kirk Watkins, E-Duction CEO. "As the largest cruise line in the
world,
Carnival offers CLEAR cardholders a wide variety of outstanding
vacation
options. With CLEAR, first-time and experienced cruisers can enjoy a
relaxing cruise vacation without having to worry about interest
charges and
late fees compounding their credit card balance."
Upon activating their cards, CLEAR cardholders will be able to receive
e-mail alerts or messages with their pay stubs or statements,
notifying them
of upcoming offers on select Carnival cruises. And best of all,
consumers
can set sail aboard one of Carnival's 20 "Fun Ships" whenever they
want,
knowing that they have smartly budgeted the cost of the vacation over
time.
CLEAR is available to employees at progressive companies nationwide,
including Fortune 500 and non-profit organizations.
Individuals who wish to apply for CLEAR and take advantage of
Carnival's
Super Saver discount rates and extended financing on Carnival's "Fun
Ships"
should ask their employer to contact E-Duction at 1-877-663-3828 or
E-Duction.com.
CLEAR Cardholders may book their Carnival cruise vacation by
contacting any travel agent.
