Default Newark - China How well do laptop connections work

Should I expect the electric connection on my economy seat to really work
with my laptop? What happens if it doesn't? Will they give me a seat with a
working connection, or even better, upgrade me?

Likely yes. Too bad if it doesn't. If there are other economy seats
you may be allowed to switch. Upgrade, you wish!!

Sure. For you, they will just kick people out of the seats that have the
working power.
