Valencia to Barcelona by car

I am hoping somebody can recommend a 'must-see' between Valencia and
Barcelona. We have rented a car to make the 350 KM drive and will have
an entire day to do it. We want to stop in one or two places along the
way.

All recommendations/suggestions are much appreciated.

Not must sees but:-
Poblet or Santes Creus. Tortosa above the Ebro delta has a
castle/parador with views from battlements

The delta is interesting if you would like to visit a rice
production area.

If you will not be doing so later, visit Monserrat.

You really want to take the AP-7 all the way to Valencia.

Tarragona is an obvious stop, there is a very nice Roman colisseum and
aqueduct well worth visiting.

The delta of the Ebro river is a must stop if you want a plentiful and
cheap seafood (or seafood rice) meal. Vinaros, Alcanar or Sant Carles
are some of the obvious choices. The area has some of the best tasting
seafood in the Mediterranean thanks to the muddy waters, although you
will not be impressed by their size.

Morella means a 30 minutes detour from the AP-7 (exit at Vinaros, then
take the N-22-something heading for Zaragoza) but it's a great medieval
town perched on a rock and a bit less touristy than Peñiscola
(Benicarlo-Peñiscola exit), also a medieval town, this time on the
sea.

Right near Valencia you have Sagunto, an example on how NOT to restore
a Roman theatre and walls, but worth the visit nonetheless.
