What are my chances of getting a last minute deal?

We want to cruise from Jacksonville or New Orleans
the week of June 20th. This must be a busy week,
because there are hardly any good specials.
Should I go ahead and book the cruise now, or wait
to see if prices go down?

We are sailing June 26 and don't see many deals anywhere this summer. It
seems cruises for the summer are selling quite well so they don't need to
discount much. You might get a deal a month out or so but you won't get a
cabin in a good location.
Not finding many good prices for air either. I would venture to guess that
with the airlines cutting of so many flights since 9/11 that there just
aren't that many seats available.
This is just my take on the situation. Maybe Ray or some of the more
frequent travelers will have a different take on the situation.

THis year is a boom in the travel business I do not see many "Deals" going by
like in PRevious years. I hope it continues...
