Default Allegro Playacar - January 2008

I was involved with a group of 12 who stayed at the Allegro Playacar
in mid January 2008. The rooms reserved were "Standard" rooms. They
turned out to be very small with no room to store clothes. Several of
the rooms were very damp and smelled moldy. Two of the rooms had
problems with the air conditioners barely blowing cool air and it took
three days to get the maintenance folks to respond and inform the
guests there was little they could do to make it cooler. Most of the
group indicated the entertainment was good as was the food. The
biggest complaint was the number of time share salesman and their
persistence.
