10 Day Cruise Departing U S Gulf Coast for So. Amer. & Panama Canal
I want to do a cruise just after Xmas and over the New Year and sail
from the Gulf Coast of the U S.or an eastern Fla. port. 10 days to So. Amer. and sailing into the Canal Zone with maybe a stop or two elsewhere. Need to go guaranteed share since I am single. Have cruised 5 times before, all on Carnival, from New Orleans and Miami, to the eastern and western Caribbean. I want a cheap price, naturally, and not sailing on some rust bucket. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

10 Day Cruise Departing U S Gulf Coast for So. Amer. & Panama Canal
Cruises over New Year's are the most expensive of the year. I wasn't aware of a "guaranteed share" program? You can get a good idea of what ships are doing a Panama Canal itinerary during the requested time period by using a cruise search engine--I like Travelocity's (use the advanced engine to further customize), but there are many. You'll see the prices for a single traveler. You can take that information to a travel agent specializing in cruises to see what he/she can do for you in the way of more favorable pricing. You should have some frequent cruiser privileges with Carnival.... Good luck!
