Default 1 Casino 40 cabins

Since I'm taking the Norwegian Jade on its (2nd) inaugural voyage ...
I was curious to see how they were changing the ship from Hawaian to
European cruises ... as near as I can figure out from sister ships ...
the casino area presently has about 40-45 cabins in the area the
casino will be put in ...

I would think that they will make changes to maximize overall
profit ... so I conclude that having a casino is worth more than the
fares and bar bills and the like from 40 cabins ...

Fares maybe. However, I am sure that the casinos have their own bar
bills.

Only casinos over 21 are allowed to drink though ... and over 21 seems
to be my blackjack fate ...

We are booked on the cruise at the end of March. Is this the one you
are going on? We in this case is myself and a grandson because Bob
(my husband) has no intention of flying especially to Europe.

OK - we are on the March 30th cruise (Barcelona to Istanbul) but we
are flying in to Barcelona on the 28th (leaving on the 27th).

So you are going to be on the transatlantic part from North America to
England? Or between England and Barcelona?

Miami to Barcelona ... Billed as the second inaugural
cruise ...supposedly some ceremonies in Miami ... it is the southern
(less rough) transatlantic ... hits Barcelona on 3/13 ... we're
staying until the 16th ...
It then goes somewhere before the March 30 trip you are on ... not
sure where ... I recall England and back but I could easily have that
confused ... I do know your cruise is billed as the first
(inaugural :-) ) Barcelona to Istanbul ...
The trip before ours is the 1st inaugural LA to Miami ...
How it gets to LA from Hawaii is anyone's guess ... must be a
preinaugural cruise ...

There's a lot of inaugurals going round for that ship ...

If you need info on some great car and drivers we had for some of your
ports ... I'll give them to you ... I especially enjoyed Spiros in
Athens and Ali in Ephesus ...

When I was on PoH this summer, I asked one of the crew where the
casino was going to be, and he told me it was going near the
French restaurant. I believe he said they were adding more
cabins on a higher deck (not sure what it was replacing). I
could be wrong, but that's what I recall.
