Default Dimming the cabin lights

In response to that thread, I asked a friend who's a Captain with United
about the dimming of the cabin lights at night for take off & landing.

He said there is no FAA or company reg & he has never asked for it to be
done. Not to say that other Captains wouldn't ask.

Eric
