Having been involved with the public in the hotel and catering trade for
over 60 years after both a Private and Public Education, and having been in
the Forces, all be it for only a short while but nevertheless from Lower
Deck to Officer's Mess, I am amazed at just how people expose themselves

Noticing and "paying so much attention" are hardly the same thing.
There's lots of things I dislike- from spitting on the street to people
yacking on mobile phones on trains. However, I try and get a practical
balance between disdaining such things and letting them not get to me.
Otherwise, life would be quite stressful unless I lived on an island by
myself.
