This connection is very tight. You will have to reclaim your luggage,

clear customs and recheck it at OSL (drop it off at the "bag drop" on
the departures floor, one level up), pass security and catch your
flight. I would usually not settle with less than 60 minutes for such
a
connection, more if travelling with children.

However, if SAS is selling this ticket and you miss the connection,
SAS
will get you a seat on the first available flight - most likely the
SK4086 leaving at 13:45 (usually plenty of seats on that one, unless
you're travelling in the weekend or near Yule).

I am unable to get that connection as a suggestion, though - which
booking service do you use, and what is your travel date?

Karl: the travel date is a Friday in June 09 (I like to plan ahead, and
it's a mileage redemption) and I can see the pairing on www.flysas.com
and elsewhere...

I also find it for that date, but not for dates in January...
strange. But if SAS sells it and you don't matter about possibly
having to run through OSL airport, go for it. It is very unlikely you
won't get a seat on the 13:45 flight if you are too late for your
original flight.

There is a significant risk that your luggage won't be on the same
plane as you - the baggage drop officially closes 40 minutes before
departure, and it is unlikely you will have your luggage at that time
(your incoming plane might be early, though). The queues should be
short at that time of day, though.

If it is really important to make the connection, travel with carryon
luggage only and make sure you get a seat that will get you quickly
off the LHR-OSL plane. If faced with the choice of waiting two hours
for a plane at OSL or waiting two hours for your luggage at EVE, chose
the former - Evenes airport and its surroundings are not very
interesting. OSL at least have some shops.

If you are separated from your luggage, the staff at EVE is usually
very friendly and helpful to join you up again - they will usually
arrange to have it sent to any hotel or bus terminal serviced by the
local airport buses (Narvik, Harstad, Svolvær and Sortland).
