Any Lake Tahoe Recommendations?
Does anybody have any recommendations for activities and restaurants in the
Lake Tahoe area? Or some road trip ideas even up to a full day trip? Thanks, Paul |

Primavera is fine. But it's pretty much a coffee shop. __________________________________________________ ___________ A San Franciscan who's visited 49 of 50 US states http://geocities.com/dancefest/ http://geocities.com/iconoc/ ICQ: http://wwp.mirabilis.com/19098103 IClast at SFbay Net |

But there are some spectacular scenery on the south side. One can take the ski lift up for a fantastic view of the lake. And of course a lot of hiking trails, and Emerald Bay. I agree with what you said below. North Lake is beautiful - a trip to Truckee is fun - darling town & nice restaurants. Also, the drive onwards over the Donner Pass is spectacular. I really like Soule Domain on the Cal/Neva border - in an old miner's cabin & great food. Enjoy this beautiful area! |

Then I have the name wrong as it's certainly not a "coffee shop" by any definition. __________________________________________________ ___________ A San Franciscan who's visited 49 of 50 US states http://geocities.com/dancefest/ http://geocities.com/iconoc/ ICQ: http://wwp.mirabilis.com/19098103 IClast at SFbay Net |
