Information for people on George's Valentine's Cruise 2007

Hi Everyone,

If you are sailing on George Leppla's Valentine's Cruise 2007
http://cruisemaster.com/grandeur.htm you may have trouble getting a
hotel in New Orleans if you wait to book a hotel. Mardi Gras is 20
Feb. The ship returns on 17 Feb. George has group space reserved at a
hotel in the French Quarter, but because of being so close to Mardi
Gras they are requiring a two night stay.

I did find a hotel that would let me book a one night stay for the
night of 9 Feb. Days Inn at 1603 Canal Street.

Now, since we are returning so close to Mardi Gras, Kristi and I and a
couple of friends are going to stay for Mardi Gras and fly home on 21
Feb.

I am not sure if anyone else wants to consider this. However, you may
want to get your hotels lined up before you make flight arrangements.
