and the current one is one of ever more expensive drug treatments and
ever longer living patients. Theres an issue to be resolved certainly,
but its not one dor americans to crow about.

You mean because Americans are heavily subsidizing your drug costs in
Europe which have been shifted here?

I dont think so. Ive no idea what you are on about there.

He's referring to the fact that Americans pay much higher amounts for drugs
than do people in other countries, thus subsidizing not only the research
and developement of the drug companies, but indirectly subsidizing the
people in other countries so they can pay less for their drugs.

That wouldn't have been terribly diplomatic, would it?

diplomacy is a substitute in the absence of overwhelming force

I dont buy that, most people everywhere are right handed. I dont
believe those that dont switch are all left handed.

If "most patrons" are switching, it's because they
are right-handed, not because they think it is a superior thing to do!

or because it was the way they were taught, much more likely.

does that include the UK and drugs developed in UK? Why do the US
companies choose to subsidise drugs sold to Europe? if they do.

The other way, I would have thought - use force only when/if diplomacy
fails.

Not from the point of view of many people in America.

Remember, sickness is God's punishment, being poor is a sign that you
are evil.

Now, that's just ignorant bigotry speaking. You sir, know nothing of the
people in America. Nothing at all.

Lack of content noted.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Barbeques on fire by the chalets past the castle headland
I watched the gift shops glitter in the darkness off the Newborough gate
All these moments will be lost in time, like icecream on the beach
Time for tea.

Exactly. Even Miss Manners, a US etiquette guru, insists that switching
is correct.

??????
Most of the people in the UK are right-handed. Few, if any, of them
switch hands.
