China: Using foreign ATM cards (ShenZhen and Guilin) ?

Not all banks/ATMs accept foreign ATM cards, but Bank of China does (and several others) and they are everywhere. A few ATMs accept *only* foreign ATM cards, and they can come in handy if the network is down and all the ATMs in town are saying "mei you quian". Limit is usually 3000 CNY per transaction (almost US400). Best regards, Spehro Pefhany -- "it's the network..."
