Default American Eagle

In cruising the ICW (Intercoastal Waterway) on our boat, we see small
cruise ships which look intriguing to me - they look like what I think
of as 'real' ships, and they must have a small number of passengers.
I've seen one named American Eagle in Belhaven NC, Jekyll Island GA,
and in Fernandina Beach FL. I've talked to some of the crew, and they
seem to be talking American English (i.e. they seem to be
non-foreign). I've seen the passengers eating dinner as they cruise
by us when we were at anchor.

Other small ships like this that I've seen (although less often than
American Eagle) include Palm Beach Princess (coming in Lake Worth
inlet), Black Prince (in Bimini), Cape Cod Light (in the yard in
Jacksonville), Nantucket Clipper (in the Georgia sounds), American
Caribe (in Charleston), and Niagara Prince (American Canadian line -
near Oriental NC).

I saw one in Snow's Cut (NC between Wrightsville Beach and Wilmington)
that I didn't get the name of, and I know the Charlestonian (which
does NOT look like a real ship - I think it looks like a loaf of
bread) is one that is a golf boat - does cruises to golf courses.

Has anyone cruised on these ships or do you know anything about them?
Are they in any way affordable?

I am pretty sure that the Palm Beach Princess is a gambling ship and
just goes out for the day.
