Default ADVISORY - Philly Traffic Sunday - Allow extra time!

Anyone leaving out of Philadelphia on Sunday should be aware that
traffic might be particularly bad because right down the street a few
blocks, the Phillies will be playing the last game ever at Veterans
Stadium. The game is sold out.

Traffic in South Philly is a nightmare when only 20,000 or so fans are
at the stadium, so it may likely be much worse. The people running the
traffic down there are clueless, inept, indifferent, incompetant,
rude, unhelpful, and understaffed.

On the positive side, the Horizon doesn't leave until 4:00, so try to
get to the ship yard while the game is still in progress.

Good luck.

What happened to those other games they were supposed to be playing next
week, you know, the Wild Card series?

;-)

D'OH!!! They got outplayed down the stretch by the Marlins! 'Tis a
grim sports year for a guy from Philly who went to Penn State. Time
for a vacation to Bermuda!!!!!!
