UK Premier Travel Inn
Hi All
Has anyone any experience of staying in Premier Travel Inn's in the UK? I have stopped in several Holiday Inn Express places but never the Premier Travel Inn's. Are they good quality? Just asking because we are booking a long weekend away and Premier are the only hotel of that kind in the area we want to go. Thanks |

Are they good quality? Most are adequate, I would say fairly basic but clean. I wouldn't use the expression 'good quality'. But fine for sleeping and showering. I have only had one bad one. (and the only problem was that the bed was VERY soft - I had to put the matress on the floor to sleep). Just asking because we are booking a long weekend away and Premier are the only hotel of that kind in the area we want to go. Assuming all you want is a clean place to sleep - go for it - They usually have no 'character'. |

Thanks The premier travel inn chain have just formed from a merger between Premier lodges and Travel Inn. The hotels are generally fine and the rooms are all so similar that it is hard to tell where you are. They are, I think, good value for money with a reasonable size room in a good location. Breakfast is normally taken in an attached restaurant and is overpriced for what you get. We have usually found a nearby supermarket with a restaurant and eaten there in the morning. Gary |

Gary Thank you Yes, I saw th price of the breakfast on the website and thought it very expensive. Think we will grab a breakfast elsewhere on the mornings we are there. |
