Default What's wrong with Westjet's Row 4?

I purchased a reservation today on Westjet When I went to pick seats,
I saw that row 4 was empty both directions, even though seats in front
of row 4 and behind row 4 were filled. What do other people know that
I don't know? What's wrong with row 4 on a Westjet 737? Thanks.

Should you use the mailblocks package and expect a response from me,
you should preauthorize the dissensoftware.com domain.

I very rarely bother responding to challenge/response systems,
especially those from irresponsible companies.

Nothing is wrong, but it might be reserved for "those guests with
special needs" who don't notify the airline in advance, should any
present themselves at the gate.

It's also difficult to get a reserved seat in the last couple rows on
many flights, they're often marked as reserved online but the seats
themselves are almost always actually empty. AFAIK Westjet does this to
accommodate employees traveling on standby, but they'll still sell these
seats and put paying guests there if needed.

I rather prefer the back of the plane if I have bags checked (and if I
have my noise isolating headphones with me); there tends to be less
annoyances in the back of the plane, and the engine noise drowns out any
nearby crying and screaming passengers (babies and others alike). Having
to wait longer to get off the plane isn't much of a factor to me when I
still get to baggage pickup before my bag does.
